In 2014, Holly created The Quiet Wind to offer an alternative treatment to people facing learning challenges, attention & focus difficulties, anxiety stress, and allergies. She uses drug free methods to support learning, focus, and how the body deals with stress and allergens. Holly received her training in this field under Susan McCrossin through the Learning Enhancement Center and Boyd Schwartz through the Focus and Beyond training program. She is certified in Crossinology Advanced BIT, Brain Physiology, and Muscle Reactivation. 

Holly has extensive experience in the classroom as a Special Education teacher. She has spent 8 years working with students with a range of disabilities including; Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Emotional Disabilities. She has had success with supporting different learning styles, implementing research backed interventions for reading, writing, and math, and has supporting student’s social skills needs. Although Holly enjoyed her work in the public school system, she knew there had to be a better way to help students achieve greater success using a different approach. This led her to become certified in Crossinology Brain Integration Technique (BIT). 

Holly studied Special Education at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. She received her Bachelors of Science in Special Education in 2006. She then received her Masters in Education at Western Oregon University in 2012.
